Has anyone checked that  Justin Bruening is alright recently? I’m worried this is the curse of Knight Rider…talking to a freakin car all day, especially K.I.T.T (amusingly boiced by Val Kilmer), would drive anyone to drink.

According to Radaronline, it seems David Hasselhoff is back in hospital. Reportedly, David’s teenager daughter found him unconsious and telephoned Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela who came over immediately and took David to Cedar’s Sinai Medical Center.

Correct me if this is wrong, but sources say this is the seventh drinking incident in less than a year. Come on David you can pull through this.

To those of you who were all like, OMG how did Australian actor Hugh Jackman make it to the top spot on People’s sexiest men alive list at the end of 2008, you may want to watch his new movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Hugh is actually naked for one scene, although there is nothing too ‘personal’ on view so don’t get too excited. But you have to chekc out the body he has sculpted - it is simply awesome. I read somewhere that even Ryan Reynolds was incrediably nervous about acting alongside him on screen and worked hard himself so he wouldn’t look like a male verison of Lindsay Lohan (my words not his!).

A bunch of British celebrities including Radio DJ Chris Moyles and boy band singers Gary Barlow and Ronan Keating  recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania for Red Nose Day 2009 (a charity event).

Now it seems Justin Timberlake wants to follow in their footsteps and do the same climb to bring attention to the water crisis. Also attending this hike are the rapper Lupe Fiasco and singer Kenna.

Justin has told GQ magazine that he has been training four time a week with extra weight on his back in preparation.

Another hot Australian  guy wooing American audiences on prime time television; Simon Baker (you may remember him in The Guardian) is starring as Patrick Jane in the clever new series The Mentalist from CBS.

Don’t get any ideas, he may be new to the big fame thing but he is happily married to actress Rebecca Rigg.

II think he is one of the hottest things on the box right now. His smile is seriously dreamy. Hurry up though, the first season is ending some time towards the end of May (I think).  I guess he can’t film all year, not with other projects on the go. I think Not Forgotten will be worth catching. I’m not sure it is a TV movie or whether we will see it in the cinemas though. It is a psychological  thriller and Simon plays Jack, who with his wife are coming to terms with a horrible past to save their kidnapped daughter.

I’m not going to waste your time talking about what 17 Again is all about. Needless to say it stars High School Musical hotty Zac Efron, who has to really tune up his efforts with competition form other teen idols like Robert Pattinson coming on to the scene.

Anyway about three weeks to go until release depending on where you live. Book those seats in advance, I heard on the grapevine that Zac will be a shirtless for one or two scenes. I guess I should mention his male co-stars Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon, but really, did you care?

Curious connection: Neil started out in a role as a doctor, Doogie Howser and Shane West is (soon was) doctor in medical drama. Whenever I see either on TV I get them confused.

Anyway, so reportedly Neil (not Shane…although damn they look similar) did date some women including Christine Taylor but has now settled for a very tasty man, fellow actor David Burtka, who has done some television work is sticks mainly to Broadway.

If I said that I was excited a out a science fiction movie you would be like, errr what Tim? Then if I went on and explained I was looking forward to the new Star Trek movie you would stare at me, perplexed, no doubt. Well you would be wrong to question my reasons…listen up.

Readers of AfterElton.com voted adorable actor Jake Gyllenhaal for the second year running. 2008 was a tough year for the Brokeback Mountain actor who lost his friend and co-star Heath Ledger and he wasn’t very busy. Nonetheless his appeal to gay men his remained strong.

AfterElton ponder why Jake is so appealing to gay men and submit that it could be his doe-eyed boy next door look, but then did they check out his very fit body recently? Not to mention the large bulge he is storing in his trousers. Grab some popcorn and rent Jarhead, Brokeback and more recent Prince of Persia and enjoy some Gyllenhaal skin.
