Short on ideas Hollywood may be again, they have been reworking a new take on the Sherlock Holmes stories and the detective will be played by the troubled but stil very gorgeous actor Robert Downey Jr, Dr Watson by Jude Law and the villian Lord Black Wood by Mark Strong who some of you may know from RocknRolla.

It is a new Guy Ritchie project due for release toward the end of 2009 and I think it might be a success, primarily because of the hot male cast.

OMG I just found out that he will not be saying famous catchphrase “Elementary, my dear Watson”. I wonder if the homoerotic element will stil be simmering?
