Are Americans going to pick ‘Glambert’?

lambert2Adam Lambert is still in there with a chance of the big win on American Idol this Wednesday. We all know he has the talent. But will the public States-side vote for a gay singer when it really matters in the final when there is the option of supporting Kris Allen. *hiss*. On a show that has a reputation for nudging its contestants into hiding their private lives and pasts, it seemed unlikely that a character like Adam could have progressed so far regardless or talent. Maybe it is all part of Obama mania and shifting attitudes in conservative America. The show even seems to be actively pushing his flamboyant side and allowing him to wear his makeup and ‘lively’ clothing. Whereas Kris is most girls and some gay guys perfect guy with his dreamy eyes and seductive smile, will he be able to steal votes from Adam’s apparent musical superiority in his spandex?

Eminem is back!

eminemLove or hate the liipy rapper Eminem, he knows how to come back from a few years in the relative wilderness and attract attention. He is currently involved in an ongoing feud with his ex and her new bloke Nick Cannon. This has apparently started because he refers to his relationsgip with Mariah Carey in the track Bagpipes From Baghdad from his new album Relapse. He is heard to rap “Nick Cannon better back the f*cK up. I’m not playing, I want her back, you punk. Nick Cannon, you pr*ck, I wish you luck with that f*ckin’ whore.” Nice gentlemanly behaviour there Eminem! Nick has now joined the war…stay tuned.

So the new album wil be released in a few days now. You have all probably heard the new single or seen the video, even more importantly, for We Made You, which is already topping charts. In it he takes the p*ss out of tons of celebrity subjects. In particular, he features a fake Jessica Simpson who is on the weighty side at the openining, something which he admit he had to think twice about doing.

Naughty Me: I’ve got the pics of Ryan Reynolds nude

Ryan as Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins

Ryan as Wade Wilson in X-Men

Once a week I am going to hunt around for pictures of the latest Hollywood heartthrob naked, starting with the Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds who is currently in cinemas as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (see earlier post on Hugh Jackman). I think Ryan started out as a male model so there are loads of shirtless photos around of his refined torso. Anyway, after some digging I discovered that Reynolds actually stripped in two movies, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and Buying the Cow, both of which were released in 2002.

Ryan ‘protected his modesty’ in the Lampoon frontal, covering up his penis, bad form! However, in the scenes from Buying the Cow, Reynolds is caught embarassingly running around naked and as his legs part while running we catch a glimpes of his private parts.

Check out the caps after the jump (NSFW).

Can’t wait for RDJ as the new Sherlock Holmes

sherlockrobertShort on ideas Hollywood may be again, they have been reworking a new take on the Sherlock Holmes stories and the detective will be played by the troubled but stil very gorgeous actor Robert Downey Jr, Dr Watson by Jude Law and the villian Lord Black Wood by Mark Strong who some of you may know from RocknRolla.

It is a new Guy Ritchie project due for release toward the end of 2009 and I think it might be a success, primarily because of the hot male cast.

I’ve found some good photographs from the movie and put them after the jump below.

Adam is safe for another week

lambertAdam Lambert has survived ‘Rock Night’ on American Idol, the reality singing competition. Kris Allen who we sort of like is also through to next week. But Adam is our favorite, with plenty of chatter predicting he could win. Unlike last week when Lambert ended up in the bottom two, giving us a big scare.

Last night Adam performed classic Led Zep track Whole Lotta Lovin and it was flawless, impressing ALL the judges.

For those of you who aren’t Adam fans yet then you should know there have been pictures circulating of him kissing other men, which was discussed on The O’Reily Factor. So we are hoping he is the latest addition to a great list of openly gay Hollywood celebs. The boy has talent, he has been working on stage much of his life and has been regularly performing at the Zodiac Show (co-created by Pussycat Dolls’ Carmit Bachar).

Old and new hotties campaign for frogs?

fordcraig

British Royal Prince Charles has recruited James Bond hunk Daniel Craig and old-but-we-remember-you-hot Indiana Jones actor Harrison Ford to help his cause, which is?

The eco-conscious Prince is following Al Gore’s approach to communicating his concerns with the public in his 90 minute film on climate change and in particular the problem of deforestation. It is currently viewable at his website.

So what about the frog? Well everyone in the film (as you may have noticed in the TV advertising) has a computer-generated frog to symbolise the world’s rainforests…I’m just slow I guess.
